My name is Marilyn [Ameigh] Moore and I am retired.
Crocheting has been a hobby of mine for 60 years or more.
My grandmother taught me crocheting and knitting as well
as sewing in my youth. She loved them too.
I live in New York State in the USA. We have Winter with snow here and it is nice to sit with a cup of hot coffee looking out at it and crochet. In Summer I love to sit in the shade outside and crochet. We are in a rural area so we have birds churping away most of the time and lots of trees, shrubs, and hillsides to enjoy. Ameigh's Crochet-Knit Nook was created to offer home-made items for babies and toddlers to wear. Baby and Toddler clothes are often so cute and they are fun to create. Each baby or toddler item is unique in some way or another - maybe a color combination, applica, stitch pattern, color placement, or design customization. When making baby or toddler clothes, I ended up with a lot of left over bits ad pieces of yarn and emblishments, so I started making doll clothes, soft toys, and finger puppets. They turned out to be a lot of fun. In 2018, I started doing Knit Loom as I wanted a knitted look without knitting. So far have made hats and scarfs and downloaded a lot of patterns, instructions, and ideas. So far have the round looms [all sizes] in bulky and fine as well as the sock loom and some double looms. Sometime this year I'll try a afghan double loom and make an afghan. So..... as it sounds, I am a beginner knit loomer. It is lots of fun. My other sites are Ameigh's Christian Blog and Ameigh's Baby & Toddler Clothes and Accessories Blog. You are welcome to check them out. |
